2008

September :  1st - new ALDM website ready.

October : 25th -  at 10.30, Press conference in head office                              (click on pics to enlarge) 

November : 4th.  John Zammit attends the 2008 Journalism Award at the Robert Sammut Hall. JZ alerted his 
                           collegues to the fact, that they are not giving the ALDM the same coverage as other
                           Maltese political parties. 

                  27th. John Zammit canvassing all day in Naxxar and speaking to the Naxxar Lions footballclub.

                  29th.  Release of the new dvd with speeches from John Zammit, Jean-Pierre Sammut and
                            Hans-Jorgen Gotsche.   

December : 6th.  Christmas and newyear celebration in the party-office ( see pic).

                   9th.  On Tuesday 9th December, Liberal Leader John Zammit met Labour Party Leader Joseph Muscat at 4 p.m. at the Labour Party Head Quarters at Hamrun.  

The discussion was about several things concerning the political situation in Malta . If the Liberal Party elects any candidate in the national election, we will eventually make a coalition with Labour on certain terms, like the divorce issue and other progressive laws.  

After that meeting John Zammit canvassed certain parts of Hamrun.  

                   24th.  Christmas peace.

May :  9th. Europe-day - ALDM participates in a EU-debate in Xlendi, Gozo. 10-12.

June :  6th.   European Parliament election.
